PURPOSE: To mix polished rice with processed rice at a definite ratio, by connecting a polished rice tank and a processed rice tank with respective multi- blade metering rotors each having a specific structure, and operating each rotor at a controlled speed of rotation.
CONSTITUTION: Polished rice and processed rice are charged into the polished rice tank 10 and the processed rice tank 11, respectively, and the mixing apparatus is started. The multi-blade wheels 13 and 19 of the multi-blade metering rotors 15 and 21 are rotated to discharge the polished rice and the processed rice from the polished rice tank 10 and the processed rice tank 11, respectively. The flow rates of the metering rotors 15 and 21 are set to definite levels to achieve the required mixing ratio by controlling the rotational speed of the wheels 13 and 19.
