Abstract:
PURPOSE: To contrive to form a good image by forming latent image faithful to image signal on recording medium by a method wherein the heating temperature of a thermal head for forming the latent image is set to be lower than the boiling point of the liquid coming into contact with the surface of the recording medium in a means for forming the latent image on the recording medium.
CONSTITUTION: In a means for forming latent image on recording medium 1, the heating temperature of a thermal head 2 for forming the latent image is set to be lower than the boiling point of the liquid 8 coming into contact with the surface of the recording medium 1. Thus, since no bubble due to the foaming of the liquid (including recording agent) develops at the forming of the latent image, the latent image faithful to image signal is formed on the recording medium, resulting in allowing to form a good image.
