The rice transplanter 1 includes a pump 63 for an actuator to be a hydraulic pump driven by the power of an engine 14, a transmission case 18 filled with a hydraulic fluid to be supplied to the pump 63 for the actuator, a lift cylinder 35 which is arranged behind the transmission case 18 and to which pressurized oil is fed from the pump 63 for the actuator to lift up and down a planting part 40, and a lift valve unit 65 having a control valve 65f inside which controls the flow of hydraulic fluid to the lift cylinder 35, wherein the lift valve unit 65 is installed in a rear part of the transmission case 18.
