Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ridge following apparatus in an elevated working vehicle capable of automatically following the curve and meander of ridge and traveling and concentrating in essential transplantation and harvesting operation.
SOLUTION: This ridge following apparatus in the elevated working vehicle has a constitution in which a portal straddle frame 4 obtained by connecting both shoulder parts of gate columns 6 for attaching tentacle wheels 5 to cambers at the lower part so as to adjust height by a connecting lever 7 at the front of the elevated working vehicle 1 is synchronously linked in parallel with rotation spindles 8 as supports projected backward from the upper parts of the gate columns 6 by inserting the rotation spindles into fixation pipe shafts 3 correspondingly projected to the front of the elevated working vehicle 1. An eccentric cam 9 is fixed to either of the rotation spindles 8 and a wire terminal 13 of a movable rope 12 related to a side clutch of right and left transmissions of a driving part 10 of traveling wheels 2 is connected to the opposing end of the eccentric cam 9, either side clutch of the right and left transmission is disengaged by the rotation action of the eccentric cam 9 so that the advance direction of the elevated working vehicle can be corrected.
