Title:
RIDGE ROOF TILE MOLDED FROM CELLULOSE IMPREGNATED WITH BITUMEN, AND INSTALLATION METHOD OF THE SAME
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2013204419
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide an installation method of a ridge roof tile molded from cellulose impregnated with bitumen for covering a roof, and a ridge roof tile having a slender shape extending in the lengthwise direction.

A ridge roof tile includes a central part 2 having a symmetrical downward concave shape in a transverse direction, having two flat projected edges 3 tilting downward in the lateral direction at the sides of the central part so as to symmetrically expand the sides in the lateral direction, respectively. The projected edges are supported by two planes intersecting at the inner angle facing downward between the projected edges. The projected edges are installed flat relative to the two flat tilted planes of a roof having an inverted V-shape, along the angular junction between the tilted planes. The tilted planes define a predetermined ridge angle therebetween. In the case of no deformation stress, the inner angle between the projected edges is 106°±10°, or the angle of the projected edge relative to the horizontal plane is 37°±5°.
