Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep the fitted condition of a joint between a flat ridge and a corner ridge in good appearance and simplify construction.
SOLUTION: A ridge structure consists of a holding member 4, a stepped extending tile 2 and a cap tile with an extension 5 (or a cap tile 6). The holding member 4 is provided in the longitudinal direction of a ridge core at a fixed height and the stepped extending tile 2 is formed with multilayered strip planes at both sides. The stepped strip tile 2 is fixed to the holding member 4 to provide a gap between the lower end of the stepped extending tile 2 and a pantile roofed at the ridge end in such a condition, the cap tile with the extension 5 (or the cap tile 6) is placed on the stepped extending tile 2 and the cap tile with the extension 5 (or the cap tile 6) is fixed to the holding member 4 with a fastener.
