Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ridge ventilating construction capable of restricting the ingress of rainwater from a ventilating hole to the inside of a building even when rain water blowing into the inner part of a ventilation passage in a ridge roof tile ventilating portion due to strong wind comes up to an upper portion of the ventilating hole of the ridge peak portion.
SOLUTION: A ridge ventilating construction comprises a vent hole 10 opened and formed at the ridge peak portion of a roofing member 20, ridge roof tile 30 covering the upper portion of the vent hole 10, and a ridge roof tile ventilating portion 40 having a venting passage 47 venting air from the vent hole 10 to the side end of the ridge roof tile 30. In this case, a vent hole cover 50 is formed for covering the upper side of the vent hole 10 for suppressing the ingress of rain water from the upper space of the vent hole 10.
