Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reproduce the sinking feeling that a rider on an actual motor cycle feels bodily at the time of cornering through a simulator device since the rider does not horizontally move so much even when a dummy motor cycle is slanted.

CONSTITUTION: The body of the dummy motor cycle A is held on a 1st roll shaft 4 being the rotor shaft of a servomotor 41, which is fixed to the upper end part of a roll arm 5 stood on a 2nd roll shaft provided on a base 6 in parallel to the 1st roll shaft 4. The 2nd roll shaft 5 is rotated by the servomotor 52 and when the dummy motor cycle A is slanted by rotating the 1st roll shaft 4 so as to reproduce cornering operation, etc., the 2nd roll shaft 5 is rotated in a reverse direction.
