PURPOSE: To efficiently perform transmission of driving force and improve grass dividing ability by adopting a specific construction in a grass dividing mechanism for rushes and a driving means for various rush harvesting mechanisms.
CONSTITUTION: A fixed grass dividing rod 29 of a grass dividing mechanism (A) for rushes is horizontally projected forward from the lower end of a raising up guide rod 39 of a raising up mechanism (B) for the rushes by a prescribed distance (X) and a vibrating grass dividing rod 31 pivoted on the front projected end thereof is erected in a backward rising tilted state at a gentler prescribed angle (λ) than that of the raising up mechanism (B). A transmission shaft 33 facing to the back of the raising mechanism (B) is erected from a machine body 11 at a steeper prescribed angle (μ) viewed from the side than that of the raising up mechanism (B) to transmit power and connect the tip of the vibrating grass dividing rod 31 through an eccentric shaft 30 to the transmission shaft 33. Thereby revolving action based on an oscillating eccentric angle (π) of the eccentric shaft 30 is applied from the upper side to the vibrating grass dividing rod 31 with the aforementioned pivoted part as a fulcrum (O). In addition, the harvester is constructed so as to wholly distribute and apply driving force of an engine 12 from the upper side to the raising up mechanism (B), a reaping mechanism (D) and a nipping and conveying mechanism (C) with the transmission shaft 33.
