To provide a riding type work vehicle capable of setting large the maximum steering angle of right and left front wheels when a transmission case is extended rearward by providing the right and left front wheels to be freely steered on the right and left side parts of the transmission case.
An input shaft 24 to which the power of an engine is transmitted and front wheel transmitting shafts 68 transmitting the power to front wheels 4 are laterally arranged on the front part of the transmission case 1. The front wheels 4 are provided to be freely steered on the right and left end part of the front wheel transmitting shafts 68. A rear wheel transmitting shaft transmitting the power to rear wheels is laterally arranged in the rear of the transmission case 1. A transmitting chain 82 rotated around the axial core in the lateral direction is arranged in the middle part of the transmission case 1. The power of the input shaft 24 is transmitted to the front wheel transmitting shaft 68 and is transmitted to the rear wheel transmitting shaft through the transmitting chain 82.
