Abstract:
PURPOSE:To aim at performing the changeover of the rigidity smoothly and freely by forming a run off to prevent the interference of a connecting rod at the time of cancelling the restriction at a collet to increase the roll rigidity restricting and cancelling the connecting rod of a stabilizer. CONSTITUTION:In a rigidity adjusting device 10, a clamp link 36 is energized upward by means of a compression spring 44 in the state that a wire cable 46 is not pulled, and the switch part 32 of a collet 30 is closed. The click part 34 of the collet is engaged at the recessed part 12a of a con'rod 12, and the axial movement of the con'rod 12 is restricted to the side of a supporting member 20. As a result, the torque of the stabilizer 16 is activated between the body or a suspension, and the roll rigidity of the body is set largely. A run off 56 for preventing the interference made by the upper flute part 12b of the recessed part 12a is formed in the inner circumference of the click part 34. The generation of pinching between tapered part 32a of the switch means 32 and the aperture of the clamp link 36 is thus prevented.
