Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rim for forming a bicycle wheel improved in roundness with tensile strength.
SOLUTION: The rim is provided with a first and second annular lateral part 52, an inside annular part 54, an outside annular tire connecting part 50, and a plurality of spoke holes 58. The inside annular part 54 is arranged inside the first and second annular lateral part 52 and between them. The outside annular tire connecting part 50 is arranged between the first and second annular lateral part 52. The tire connecting part 50 is provided with a non-circular circumference arranged centering a center axle of the rim. The plurality of the spoke holes 58 are formed in at least one of the inside annular part 54 or the first and second annular lateral part 52. The non-circular circumference end has a first radius extending from the center axle of the rim and passing the spoke holes, and a second radius smaller than the first radius passing the middle part of two pairs of selected spokes adjacent on the circumference.
