Abstract:

To easily attach and remove a seal member, to suppress an aging degradation and a breakage during traveling for a long period of time, to suitably attach the seal member tightly to a drop part, and to ensure a motion space of a nipple which engages a spoke with a rim.

A cover member 5 in the form of an open ring covering a through hole 3 is provided above the drop part 1 in the rim 4 for a tubeless tire which is in a form of a ring having a predetermined width, formed with the recessed drop part 1 in the middle of the rim in the width direction, and formed with the through hole 3 into which the nipple 2 for engaging an end of the spoke s with the drop part 1 is inserted. By being pressure welded to a top surface of the drop part 1 along an outer peripheral edge on a lower surface side of the cover member 5, the seal member 6 made of an elastic material that airtightly encloses an upper space of the drop part 1 formed with the through hole 3 along with the cover member 5 is provided, and both ends 5b, 5c of the open ring 5a of the cover member 5 are removably coupled by an engaging means 7.
