This rim 2 for a vehicle is provided with a well 4 projecting inward in the radial direction, a bead sheet 8 extended outside from the well 4 in the axial direction, and the flange 10 positioned outside the bead sheet 8 in the radial direction. The flange 10 is provided with a rise-up part 3 continued to the bead sheet 8 and extended outward in the radial direction and a curved surface part 34 extended more outside in the radial direction, while enlarging outside from the rise-up part 32 in the axial direction. Axial width of the flange 10 is set at 13.0 or more and less than 20.0 mm. Curvature radius of the curved surface part 34 is set at 5.0-8.0 mm. In this rim 2, the contact area between the flange 10 and the bead is smaller than a current rim in the condition wherein a tire is fitted.
