Title:
RIMLESS SPECTACLES
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2002244083
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To propose a connecting method which provides a structure permitting the free replacement of the parts of a spectacle frame and permits the easy exchange of the parts and to provide a connecting structure which does not give rise to shaking when the parts are connected.

The rimless spectacles are formed by (1) molding lens-fixing screws at one end on the lens side of wraparound endpiece integrally with the wraparound endpiece and providing the contact surfaces of the wraparound endpieces with the lens flanks with convex projections; (2) integrally molding both ends of a bride with lens-fixing screws and providing the contact surface of the bridge with lens flanks with convex projections; (3) providing the lenses with screw holes to be inserted with the lens-fixing screws and fitting grooves of a concave shape in the positions corresponding to the convex projections of the wraparound endpieces and the bridge; and (4) passing the lens-fixing screws disposed at the wraparound endpieces and the bridge into the corresponding screw holes of the lenses, fitting the projecting parts of the wraparound endpieces and the bridge into the concave fitting grooves of the corresponding lenses and fixing the lenses to the wraparound endpieces and the bridge by tightening the lens-fixing screws with nuts.
