To provide a method of building in a ring that can easily and assuredly laminate rings when a ring is inserted into another predetermined ring whose inner diameter size is almost the same as the outer diameter size of the ring to be inserted therein even if each ring is formed thinly.
This ring building-in method for inserting a second ring 2 having an outer diameter whose size is close to that of the inner diameter of a first ring 1 into the first ring includes a step of deforming the first ring 1 and the second ring 2 toward outside from a first direction, a step of reducing the outer shape of the second ring 2 by deforming the second ring 2 toward inside from a direction substantially perpendicular to the first direction, and a step of releasing the deformation of the first ring and second ring after the reduced-size second ring 2 is inserted into the first ring 1 to build the second ring 2 into the first ring 1.
