PURPOSE: To miniaturize the gun without requiring performing specially piping for feeding a coating to a nozzle by embedding the nozzle and a valve in an annular body consisting of two annular blocks and engraving a path for feeding the coating and a path for feeding an actuating liq. under pressure along the peripheral direction on the jointed face of these annular blocks.
CONSTITUTION: A needle valve opened and closed by means of a cylinder is embedded in an annular block 3 of a coating gun and it is ordinarily energized by means of a spring in the closing direction to control ejection of a coating from a nozzle 21. In addition, the annular blocks 2 and 3 are jointed together in such a way that their central axial lines coincide with each other and a gasket 5 is pinched between joint faces of both blocks 2 and 3 and a path 22 for feeding a coating and a path 23 for feeding atomized air are engraved on the joint face of the block 2 side along the peripheral direction. In addition, a path 31 for feeding air under pressure and a path 32 for evacuating the air are engraved on the joint face of the block 3 side and each of the paths 22, 23, 31 and 32 is sealed with a gasket 5 to make them to be independent paths each other and they are respectively communicated with the paths 22a, 23a, 31a and 32 in the arms.
