Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable a leak of fluid to be prevented without causing any increase of resistance in the slide surface between a cylinder and a piston, by providing a pressure fluid chamber, enclosed by a flexible film, on the bottom part of a ring- shaped fitting groove in the cylinder so as to supply pressurized fluid and pressing an external surface of the flexible film to be touched to a bottom face of the piston. CONSTITUTION:Pressurized working oil, if it is supplied to a pressure oil chamber 18 through an oil path 13, pressurizes the bottom face of a piston 12 through a flexible film 15 to move the external end face of said piston 12 to be pressed to the pressed face side. Here the pressure of the working oil, acting not only on the bottom face of the piston 12 but also uniformly on the whole internal surface of the flexible film 15, causes the flexible film 15 to be closely attached to the internal wall surface of a cylinder 11 and the working oil to be liquid-tightly sealed by itself. In such way, any increase of slide resistance generated when the piston performs sliding motion is eliminated, enabling the fluid to be sealed without its leak.
