Abstract:
PURPOSE: The ring made of an aluminum alloy in which the part coming in contact with the traveller is subjected to hardening treatment on the surface is used to reduce the weight of the ring and lower the load on the ring rail.
CONSTITUTION: A material of aluminum alloy is cut and lathed into a ring and the surface, at least the part coming in contact with the traveller, is subjected to hardening treatment. The treatment is preferably alumite treatment or hard chromium plating. In the alumite treatment, the thickness of the coating film is preferably about 50μ and the hardness is 700W800Hv.
