Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a ring type clutch which is of thin lens structure and capable of being contained in a state to match with the lens mirror barrel of a camera.
CONSTITUTION: A rotor 11 and a stator 12 are formed in a concentric ring and an electromagnetic force is exerted on the rotor 11 and the stator 12 by means of a magnet 14 arranged to the rotor 11 and an exciting coil 17 arranged to the stator 12. The rotor 11 is rotated in one direction and the other direction according to the positive and the negative of a pulse current fed to the exciting coil 17.
