Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a network useful for communicating digital sounds by aircraft by connecting at least one of plural nodes to supply packets received from all transmitting nodes to a sample formating memory. CONSTITUTION: A sample received from a packet assembling/decomposing part 13 is stored in a sample formating unit 44 over the period of one sample epoch. The unit 44 is provided with parallel outputs including output channels corresponding to respective input channels and respective output channels are adjusted at their gain by respective units 46-1, 46-2, 46-3, etc., based on respective gain coefficients obtained from a gain coefficient storage device 45. Gain-adjusted outputs are mutually added by an adding unit 47 and a digital output from the unit 47 is converted into an analog sound signal through a D/A converter 48.
