Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the durability of a holder by forming stepped groove sections to an inserting hole, into which a shank is inserted, and installing a holder for mounting wear plates to each of the stepped groove sections.
SOLUTION: A shank 5 is inserted to a holder 1, to which wear plates 2a, 2b are installed, and fixed by a pin 6. When load F acts on the front end of the shank 5 at the time of ripper works at that time, the shank 5 is abutted against the wear plates 2a, 2b at the upper and lower end sections P1, Q1 of the holder 1. Consequently, the shank 5 receives reaction Fa, Fb. As a result, reaction power Fa, Fb work to the wear plates 2a, 2b at the upper and lower end sections P1, Q1 of the holder 1, and the shank 5 is not abutted directly against the holder 1. a≥L is formed in the relationship of the width (a) of the wear plates 2a, 2b and the width L of the shank 5. Accordingly, the abrasion and settling of the inserting hole of the holder 1 are not generated, and durability can be improved.
