To provide a rise and fall guiding means of a heddle frame for a loom, which guiding means makes lubrication easy, and makes a lubricant oil, lubricated once in a guide groove, coating on and lubricating the outer face of the vertical stays of the heddle frame for a long time so that the heddle frame is prevented from wearing out and the applied lubricant oil does not flow into the bottom.

The rise and fall guiding means of a heddle frame for a loom comprises a main body formed long in the direction in which direction the heddle frames of a loom are arrayed, a plurality of first guide grooves equipped to carry and guide the heddle frame, at least one tank equipped at least on the upper part of the main body and holding the lubricant oil therein, and adsorbing pieces connected at the opposite side of the heddle frame of the body and having a plurality of second guide grooves communicating with the tank and arrayed in the first guide grooves.
