Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flotation type flood disaster shelter capable of accommodating about one hundred or more people in an internal space and protecting them against a flood disaster such as tsunami by floating on a water surface in the state they are accommodated in the internal space.SOLUTION: A shelter into which people escape in the case of a flood disaster includes: an accommodating part 102 having a hollow space capable of accommodating a large number of people therein; and a pair of legs 130, 130 provided along a bottom face 110us of the accommodating part 102. The pair of legs 130, 130 are provided with an interval therebetween so as to form a clearance between the pair of legs. Several hundred people can be accommodated in the hollow space of the accommodating part 102, and water can be easily guided between the pair of legs in the case of a flood disaster. Thus, the inventive flotation type flood disaster shelter can be surely floated and the flood damage can be prevented while the shelter floats.
