PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve problems (traffic jams, pollution, nuisance to neighborhood residents, or the like) of land transportation using a dump truck or the like by eliminating a need to use the dump truck or the like traveling on a road when conveying dredged earth and sand in a river dredged earth and sand transporting method for conveying the river earth and sand to a separated earth and sand carrying out part in a downstream side or an upstream side of a dredging site.
SOLUTION: A plurality of conveyance units U is used having wind force conveying machines A and transport pipes P. A wind force conveying machine A of one conveyance unit U is installed at the dredging site or its neighborhood, and wind force conveying machines A of other conveyance units U are installed in a river between the dredging site and the earth and sand carrying out part SS at suitable intervals. An end of a transport pipe P of a conveyance unit U adjacent to the earth and sand carrying out part SS is put to face the earth and sand carrying out part SS, and ends of transport pipes P of other conveyance units U are respectively put to face an input port Hi of a wind force conveying machine A of an adjacent conveyance unit U. The dredged earth and sand is conveyed to the earth and sand carrying out part SS by sequentially conveying through the plurality of conveyance units U.
