Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transport system characterized by a ship of going upstream on a river without power.SOLUTION: A transport system can transport a cargo-a passenger placed on a ship in powerless state up to an upstream destination point from a downstream departure point of a river. A cable 3 cut in the certain length in a zigzag shape is installed on the left-right of a sea route of the ship of both points. One end of its cable is fixed to a bottom or a riverbank of the river by a pile. The other end of its cable is connected to a float 2 incorporated with a transmitter. Such a cable is set on the left-right of the sea route of the ship. There is a coupler 11 incorporated with a sensor for detecting a signal from the float in the ship. The cable is captured by detecting the float by this coupler. In the transport system, a water turbine equipped in its ship rotates by a water flow of the river, and the cable is hauled near by its power, and the ship goes upstream on the river to the upstream side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
