Title:
RIVER STRUCTURE BY CERAMIC BRICK OR CERAMIC BLOCK
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH083964
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a river structure which harmonizes with nature by laying ceramic bricks containing calcium, phosphorus, and iron and having air- permeability or water-permeability, so as to form a specified shape on a riverbed or the like.

CONSTITUTION: Ceramic bricks 21 containing calcium, phosphorus, and iron and having permeability are laid on a riverbed so as to form a specified shape and construct a riverbed structure 2. The ceramic bricks 21 used for the structure 2 shows weak alkalinity near neutrality. Numerous water holes purify water as a filter to realize the same environment with the natural state. When the ceramic bricks 11 are laid on the slope of a river bank to form a specified shape and construct a revetment structure, since the ceramic bricks are provided with numerous water holes, water and oxygen necessary for plants can pass through the holes and hence plants can grow between ceramic bricks 11, 11.
