To cope with quick adjustment, advanced maintainability, serviceability and quick changeability by sending out a fluid pressure signal exceeding a set value with a fluid pressure detection mechanism, sending out a signal showing pressure lowering to the set value or lower showing breaking of a mandrel and sending out a fluid pressure stop signal of a pulling head with a controller.
When a trigger 66 is pushed, an electrically controlled module 34 actuates a remote control pressure booster 40, supplies a fluid to a pulling head 43 and drives the pulling head to retreat. Further, when the trigger 66 is pushed, the electrically control module 34 starts a time cycle. At this time, a jaw case 44 holds a rivet mandrel and starts a fastening process. When a fluid pressure is raised, high and low pressure switches 250, 252 detect a pressure rise in starting fastening, a latch circuit is set. When the high pressure switch 250 is again fallen to low, the controller judges the rivet fastening is completed.
