Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly feeding a rivet holding body one pitch at a time and to precisely feed a rivet by advancing a tape piston and releasing a compressed air from a releasing port even after the ratchet of the rivet arrives at the feed end.
SOLUTION: When the compressed air is fed into a tape air cylinder 710, the tape piston 712 is advanced and a moving element 716 is also advanced opposing to the energizing force of a spring 711. The ratchet 713 is also advanced together with the moving element 716. Since the tip of the ratchet 713a is projected more than the long hole 722 of a guide plate 720 and engaged into the feed hole 732 of the rivet holding body 740, the rivet holding body 740 is also advanced by the advancement of the ratchet 713a. As soon as the tape piston 712 passes through a port (t), air pressure is released from the port (t), therefore the tape piston 712, the moving element 716 and the ratchet 713a are stopped to advance and the restoring operation is performed with the energizing force of the spring 711. By repeating this operation, the rivet holding body 740 is fed one pitch at a time, and the rivet is automatically fed.
