To provide a rivet holding body capable of holding a rivet while preventing it from coming off from tabs even when the length of a rivet main body of the rivet is extremely short.

Holding holes 8, 9 for inserting the rivet 20 to the pair of upper and lower tabs 6, 7 to hold the rivet 20 are provided. On the holding holes 8, 9, openings 10 formed by notching tips of the respective tabs 6, 7 and communicated with the holding holes 8, 9 are provided. The rivets 20 are held in parallel so that core shafts are inserted to the holding holes 8, 9 via the openings 10 and head parts are positioned on the outer peripheral sides of the lower tabs 7.
