PURPOSE: To make it possible to return the running direction of a runaway vehicle to a vehicle running side definitely.

CONSTITUTION: A plurality of barricade main bodies 1 are provided with blocks 5 which are interconnected with each other at their respective ends. A vehicle sliding contact part 15 is installed to the blocks 5 where the vehicle sliding contact part 15 is designed to prevent the plunge of a runaway vehicle by forcing the runaway vehicle to make a sliding contact and returning the vehicle to the vehicle running side. A guide member 31 is installed to each of the ends of the blocks 5 respectively. A tip portion 31a is installed to each of the guide members 31 where the tip portion is connected to the sliding contact part 15 and is further extended in the extended direction in shape which may guide the runaway vehicle from one barricade main body 3 to the other barricade main body 3. A cover member 35, which is installed, striding over a notched recessed part 27, and guides the runaway vehicle from one side of the notched recessed part 27 to the other side of the notched recessed part 27, is mounted to the vehicle sliding contact part 15.
