CONSTITUTION: A plurality of barrier transport units 12 composed of a pair of wheels 30 positioned to be mounted on the road barrier B of certain length and an engaging device 36 and a lifting device 48 or the like for lifting it by engaging with one of barriers are prepared. Next, each adjacent barrier transport unit 12 is mutually connected by a connecting joint 32 to form a transport rank. Next, a group of tractors 14, 16 attached to both the ends are operated to transport the road barrier B at a prescribed position. Thereby traffic flow is not disturbed, and the barrier can be moved along a vehicle road in the longitudinal direction.
