Abstract:
To accurately and easily calculate a road grade of a road where a vehicle (10) travels.SOLUTION: Time series data of a travel speed and a drive power when a vehicle travels on a road are read, and time series data of a reproduction drive force when the travel speed is reproduced by a chassis dynamometer (50) by using the vehicle are further read. A deviation (drive force deviation) between the read drive force and the reproduction drive force is calculated, and the drive force deviation is converted to a road grade by referencing a correspondence between the drive force deviation and the road grade. When reproducing the travel speed in the chassis dynamometer, if a road grade of the chassis dynamometer is set to a grade of 0, the drive force deviation corresponds to the road grade. Accordingly, by converting the drive force deviation to the road grade, the road grade of the road where the vehicle travels can be accurately and easily calculated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
