Abstract:
To provide technology with which it is possible to transmit road information efficiently.SOLUTION: Provided is a road information transmission system for transmitting road information for vehicle control, the road information transmission system acquiring N×M features (N, M=integer greater than or equal to 2) that are contiguous ahead of the current location of a vehicle, dividing into M groups where N contiguous features belong to the same group, assigning an index that indicates an order on a road to each group, assigning the same count value to information of M frames generated by writing the N features that are assigned the same index with information of the same frame, transmitting frames in order beginning with the one in which feature close to the current location is written and thereby transmitting road information, and incrementing a count value after transmitting information of M frames.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
