To use suitably regardless of the size of portions to be used by burying a snowmelt tank in the ground in a manner opening the placing port on the ground surface, providing heating means for heating snow and hot water within the snowmelt tank, and communicating and disposing a hot water circular path in the snowmelt tank.
A part of hot water W is pumped up from the inside of a snowmelt tank 10 by means of a pump 16, and then the hot water W is sent into the inside of a gutter 1 after flowing through a hot water piping 15. The hot water W poured in the gutter 1 flows down in the direction W of arrow, and finally poured into the inside of the snowmelt tank 10. Namely, the hot water W circulates back to the snowmelt tank 10 via the hot water pipe 15 and gutter 1 and heated by an electric heater 13, followed by a continuation of the same cycles. When snow masses S recovered by snow shoveling or snow removal are placed in the snowmelt tank 10 form a placing port 11 on the ground side, the snow masses S are melted promptly by the electric heater 13 or a predetermined quantity of ready reserved hot water W.
