Title:
ROAD SURFACE COOLING SYSTEM USING GROUND WATER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2006046807
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To prevent softening of an asphalt road surface while reducing the pumping quantity of ground water by using ground water as a cold heat source and enhancing the road surface cooling efficiency by a water pipe buried.

In the road surface cooling system adapted to cool a road surface by arranging a water pipe in the road and carrying ground water to the water pipe, a concrete layer 22 is interposed between an asphalt layer 23 and a roadbed 21 of the road to arrange the water pipe 26 in the concrete layer, two layers of upper and lower reinforcement meshes 24 and 25 are buried in the concrete layer, and the water pipe is arranged between the two layers of reinforcement meshes. The water pipe is connected to a recirculation type well 1. The recirculation type well 1 has a double pipe structure consisting of an outer casing pipe 34 and an inner casing pipe 33, the outer casing pipe being formed of a porous pipe. A heat-insulated lifting pipe 31 is inserted into the inner casing pipe, the passage between the outer casing and the inner casing is a recirculation passage 35, and the lower end of the inner casing pipe is opened within the outer casing pipe.
