This road surface drilling equipment for drilling a road surface comprises: a bit 3 which drills the road surface by reciprocating in a direction almost orthogonal to the road surface while rotating; a driving means 4 for moving the bit 3 in rotational and reciprocating directions; and a wheel 31 which can freely change the direction of the movement of the road surface drilling equipment. The road surface drilling equipment enables the control of the amount of the movement of the bit 3 in the direction almost orthogonal to the road surface, and enables the manual drive of the movement of the bit 3 in at least one direction. In addition, the road surface drilling equipment can move by making the wheel 31 rotated by an operator's push.
