Abstract:
To shorten a time required for road surface drying work..SOLUTION: A road surface dryer 200 comprises a grip 220 and a burner body 230 each attached to either end part of a long pipe 210 respectively, a nozzle cylinder 240 covering the circumference of the burner body, a gas flow rate control mechanism 260 controlling the flow rate of flammable gas being fed to the burner body 230, and a gas conduit 250 connecting the burner body 230 and the gas flow rate control mechanism 260. The road surface dryer 200 further comprises an air nozzle 300 from which air is ejected in a manner of crossing the direction of flame at an inferior angle, ejected from the burner body 230, an air flow rate control mechanism 310 controlling the flow rate of air being fed thereto, and an air conduit 320 connecting the air nozzle 300 and the air flow rate control mechanism 310. Moisture on a road surface is blown off by air ejected from the air nozzle 300 and is evaporated by flame ejected from the burner body 230.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
