CONSTITUTION: The road traffic information display device which displays the road traffic information received by a reception means 100 on display means 101, 105 is provided with a wide area road map generating means 102 which generates a wide road map 11 representing the summary of the road traffic information of wide areas based on the road traffic information, a detail road map generating means 103 which generates a detail road map 12 representing the detail road traffic information of the point where the road traffic information exists in the wide area road map 11 based on the road traffic information, and display control means 104, 104A. and 104B which display the wide road map 11 and the detail road map 12 simultaneously.
