Abstract:
To propose a road wheel for an automobile reducing road noise while dissolving the problem regarding compatibility between weight and rigidity of the road wheel.
A rib 6 is vertically provided on an inner side surface 5i of a spoke part 5 in the longitudinal direction of the spoke. The height of the rib 6 is made to be approximately constant at a hub part 2 side (inner peripheral side) than a height reduction starting place 9 of the rib 6. The height of terminal end part 6rr of the rib 6 is made to be the height projecting toward the inner side than the dashed line connecting the rib height position 6h of the joint place 8 and the height position 6r of the joint place 10 of the terminal end of the rib 6.
