Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a drainage slope to be formed easily on a roadbed surface, in a method for constructing a new roadbed by pouring a filler onto an existing ballast bed.SOLUTION: A pair of earth retaining walls 11 and 12 is installed on both sides of a track panel 22 that is laid on a ballast bed 21, in the direction of laying of the track panel 22, at a height that exceeds at least the top surface height of a new roadbed 1A to be installed on the top surface of an existing roadbed 1; then, a filler G is poured onto the ballast bed 21 that is sandwiched between the pair of earth retaining walls 11 and 12, from near the earth retaining wall 11, one of the pair of earth retaining walls; here, the filler G has a hardening characteristic that causes its fluidity to be lost after elapse of the prescribed amount of time from the start of filling, as well as a fluidity that causes the filler to reach the earth retaining wall 12, the other of the pair of earth retaining walls, within the prescribed amount of time from the start of filling, in such a way that an inclination is formed on the top surface that causes it to descend at a certain ratio from the earth retaining wall 11 on one side toward the earth retaining wall 12 on the other side.
