Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate an environment favorable for growth of plants, for a roadbed on which seeding and planting concrete is placed.
SOLUTION: An upper layer roadbed 10 on which greened concrete 20 is placed, is configured with crushed stones 12 having larger diameters and a good quality soil 14 equipped with a water retaining property to fill the voids between adjoining rubbles 12. The crushed stones 12 support the greened concrete 20 and transmit the load applied to the concrete 20 to the lower layer roadbed 16 of the pavement through protection blocks 24, while the good quality soil 14 permits the upper layer roadbed 10 to store water of such a quantity as necessary for growth of plant. If a sodding 28 is inplanted in the concrete 20, the root of the sodding 28 having reached the upper layer roadbed 10 can absorb the water from the soil 14, so that an environment favorable for growth of the plant can be established.
