PURPOSE: To provide a roasting kiln capable of automatically continuously supplying fuel and adjusting easily heating power by providing an endless conveyer having heat resisting property and flexibility, a supply means capable of supplying continuously a fixed quantity of granular or solid fuel to the endless conveyer, a fuel reservoir means, a fuel firing means and a drive means.

CONSTITUTION: An endless conveyer 1 having heat resisting property and flexibility and a fuel supply means 2 are provided so that a fixed quantity of solid fuel stored in a hopper 3 continuously supplied to the endless conveyer 1 which is movably circulated with a constant speed by a drive means 4 in the direction of arrow. A firing means 5 is constituted of a burner having gas supply adjusted by a valve 7 and activated by an ignition electrode 8. The firing condition of fuel is grasped by a thermocouple 9 and the signal thereof is converted to an operating signal by a control device 10 to close the valve 7 and stop the firing means 5. Solid fuel grains are stored in the hopper 3 so that a fixed quantity of grains are continuously sent and supplied by their own weight with the action of a vibrating plate 15 vibrated by a vibrating motor 16.
