To provide a robot apparatus for cleaning a water channel capable of using a robot main body without stopping a water flow by suppressing an increase in pipeline resistance when the robot main body is used in flowing water, formed into a relatively simple device in its mechanism and structure to be simplified in operation so as to be made usable immediately at any time and constituted to so as to frequently clean the interior of a water channel to remove the adherend on a wall surface before the growth thereof to exclude the recovery work of the adherend on the inner wall surface of the water channel.
A robot main body 10 has the shape along the inner wall surface of a water channel and may be charged in the water channel without being controlled in its posture. A piercing part 14 is formed to the central part of the robot main body 10 and the central part of the water channel 1 high in flow velocity is formed so as to have no structure and hardly receives the resistance by flowing water. Only by performing the positional control of the robot main body 10 by a winch means 40, the cleaning work of the water channel 1 can be performed by the cleaning means 20 provided to the outer periphery of the robot main body 10.
