Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the rigidity of a robot arm mechanism having a direct-acting expansion joint.SOLUTION: In a robot arm mechanism having a direct-acting expansion joint, the direct-acting expansion joint has an arm section 2 and an injection section 30, the arm section 2 has a first connection frame row 21 composed by a plurality of first connection frames 23 and a second connection frame row 20 composed by a plurality of second connection frames 22, and the second connection frame row 20 constitutes a columnar body having a constant rigidity by being joined to the first connection frame row 21. The injection section 30 has a lower roller 311 and an upper roller 312 for joining the first and second connection frame rows 21 and 20 and supporting the columnar body. The lower roller 311 and the upper roller 312 are disposed with the columnar body sandwiched therebetween.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
