Abstract:

PURPOSE: To see that the work can be performed safely without lowering the mechanical strength of the coupling part of a drive lever to which the mechanical power inside a robot for wiring construction is transmitted.
CONSTITUTION: Drive levers 26A, 26B, and 26C, which couple the wrist mechanism 16 inside the arm body 12A at the head with drive motors 28S, 28B, and 28C, have insulating lever sections 26a, 26b, and 26c at one part each excluding both ends. Accordingly, the sections being coupled by the wrist mechanism 16 or the drive motors 28A, 288, and 28C can be made metal, so the arm can be insulated from a charge part without lowering the mechanical strength of the coupling part.
