Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a robot arm capable of performing work such as light press-fitting in which a load from a lower side is applied to the robot arm even if damage of the robot arm can be prevented when an unexpected impact is applied from the lower side of the robot arm.SOLUTION: In a robot arm 2, a base end section 7 constituting a base end side portion of the robot arm 2 and a tip section 8 constituting a tip side portion of the robot arm 2 are connected by a leaf spring 9 constituting a top face of the robot arm 2 and a leaf spring 10 constituting a lower face of the robot arm 2. In the robot arm 2, plate-like members 11 and 12 constituting side faces of the robot arm 2 are movable between a deformation regulation position where elastic deformation of the leaf springs 9 and 10 is regulated in a direction in which the tip section 8 is raised and a deformable position where elastic deformation of the leaf springs 9 and 10 is made possible in the direction in which the tip section 8 is raised.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
