The robot binding apparatus includes: a grip unit 400 that grips a band B used for packaging a coil 50; a grip robot 401 that supports the grip unit 400, rotates the grip unit 400 gripping the band B at the periphery of the coil 50 to make the band B wound on the coil 50, and moves the band B to a fastening position; a head unit 300 that provides the band B to the grip unit 400 and fastens the band B at the fastening position of the band B; and a head robot 401 that supports the head unit 300 and moves the head unit 300 to the fastening position of the band B.
