Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the operation speed of a robot by transmitting/receiving data among an I/O processing part for transmitting/receiving a signal to/from an external apparatus, a subcontrol part for controlling a driving system and a main processing part through a dual port RAM. CONSTITUTION:When a welding system is started, a clamp device 16 is driven on the basis of a working command outputted from a sequencer 12 to clamp a work. The sequencer 12 detects a limit switch turn-on signal indicating the working states of respective parts of the device 16 and outputs the operation command of a welding robot 14 to a robot control device 20. On the other hand, the control device 20 transfers the operation command to the subcontrol part 54 through the I/O processing part 52, the dual port RAM 64, the main processing part 56, and the dual port RAM 66. Then, the subcontrol part 54 applies the operation command to the robot 14. In this case, the robot 14 executes welding work under control based upon a welding controller 24. Thus, the operation speed of the robot 1 can be improved.
