Abstract:
To provide an outer skin structure for achieving feeling of touch to an outer skin of a robot.SOLUTION: A robot includes a flexible outer skin 314 which is provided so as to cover a first part (such as a head) and a second part (such as a body). The outer skin 314 includes a stretchable base material 520. Elasticity improving regions 558 are provided between regions of the base material 520 (for example, between a head contact region 550 and a stomach contact region 552, and between the head contact region 550 and a back contact region 554) which are respectively in contact with the first part and the second part, the elasticity improving regions have a higher elasticity than these contact regions.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
